Yannick had a vision: to create a streetwear brand rooted in culture, designed for the people who live it. What he did not have was a path to make it real. No textile background, no producer he could trust, and a language gap with the few factories he had managed to find.
The Challenge

FRED FROM DESIRE

The Story
Fred did not come to Octanbro as a beginner. He already had a brand, an existing production line in Portugal and orders going out the door. What he did not have was a manufacturer he could rely on for the deadlines he had promised his own customers. He wanted to test us on a single drop, 100 pieces, before deciding on anything bigger.
The Challenge
- Production lead times not respected by his Portuguese supplier.
- Prices acceptable but not competitive enough for his margins.

The Story
Micas needed merchandise for his stand-up tour. Pieces his audience would actually wear after the show, not the kind of branded t-shirt that ends up at the back of a drawer. Before Octanbro, he was sourcing from Vistaprint. He knew it had to change. He needed quality his name could stand behind.
